Most of us can wire a plug, but would you attempt to rewire your home? The same rule can apply to photography. I encourage you to look at other "professional photographers" work and judge for yourself. You will see there is a huge difference in skill sets and equipment used that reflect the end result... So many will pick up a DSLR, and within 12 months they are looking for their first paid shoot at a price that reflects their experience. You will have a great price, but those images that you look back on will be a reminder that they could have been better if you were willing to spend just a little more... All of my images are of real brides and real weddings. No model wedding workshops prepared by pros. So what you see here is what you get.
You may ask why am I so competitively priced? The answer is simple, I have a full-time job and it's not about money. Photography for me is a pleasure and a passion. I have no intention of doing this full time as it I fear it would start to feel like a chore. As long as I enjoy it, then it will continue to reflect on the images I present to you. There are many full-timers out there that state "full-time photographer" that aren't earning because of the work they do. Being a full-time photographer does not make you a great photographer and in some cases quite the opposite. My goal is to offer the best bang for the buck in my area where quality and service excel. And I will continue to offer the very best I can for as long as I can.
My wedding photography pricing I like to keep simple and straightforward, with no hidden surprises. I offer a four-hour shoot and burn service at £449, all images with correctional edits presented on a USB. You will get the same great photography and kit I use on my full day package.
My day rate is £650 which covers everything from bridal prep to the first dance, and everything in between. All images with correctional edits and presented on a beautiful diamante heart USB. Access to my password-protected client area for viewing your day, here online. I also offer a 2nd photographer rate at £1125, this can enable covering both bride and groom preparations easily through to the first dance and beyond. With professionally edited images. Again presented in a stunning diamante USB heart.
Both packages include my travel within a 50-mile radius from Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Outside the 50 miles, it will be charged at 45p per mile.
All couples that book me for the day get access to my client area here on my website. You will be provided with a password that will allow you to distribute this to friends and family to enjoy your big day, again and again, online in the comfort of their own armchair.
Engagement shoots at a location of your choice are also available at £125 for a one-hour session with fully edited images. This is normally a great icebreaker, ask for details.
A £200 deposit will be required upon booking your wedding, this will confirm your date, all deposits are non-refundable once your day is secured. Full payment will be required one calendar month prior to your big day. I do not book dates or accept deposits without a prior meeting either over a coffee or via Skype, and your date will not be booked until a deposit secures. If you wish to discuss your requirements over a Coffee please do not hesitate, and go to my contact section.
